Seasonings and Dressings

Below are some simple, healthy and tasty dressings:

Dress your green salad with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sherry, Mustard and Honey Vinegar​:

Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons of Sherry Vinegar, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 tablespoon of honey and ½ a teaspoon of salt. 

Mix the oil with the vinegar, mustard and honey. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Gently heat in a pan or in the microwave. Add to the salad just prior to serving.


How to make your own Balsamic Tomato Dressing:

Ingredients: 4 tomatoes, 4 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Extra Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons of Modena Vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt. 

Dice the tomatoes, add the salt and Modena Vinegar to taste, before covering them in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add to the salad.


Dress tomatoes with curd cheese, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and basil:

Ingredients: 4 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, freshly cut basil, 1 teaspoon of rock salt. 

Mix the oil and the basil together, dress the sliced tomatoes and curd cheese and, lastly, add the salt.



Spicing up your Chicken Breasts:

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 3 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper. 

Place 3 diced cloves of garlic and parsley into a bowl, add the oil and salt and pepper. The day before cooking the meat, add the dressing to the chicken and place in the fridge in a container with a lid.


Spicing up Pork Loin with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Aromatic Herbs and vegetable stock:   

Ingredients: 1 pork loin, 5 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, herbes de provence, 100ml of vegetable stock, salt and pepper. 

Mix the aromatic herbs with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Coat both sides of the pork loin with the herbs and oil, add salt and pepper and place in a pre-heated oven at 180-190ºC. Once it has cooked for 20 minutes, remove from the oven and pour the vegetable stock over the pork. Place the pork back in the oven and leave it to cook for a further 20 minutes.
